Silvia was born in Guatemala and immigrated to the U.S. at an early age. Growing up in Orange County, her love for animals started early on and was fueled by her love for her childhood dog, a miniature schnauzer named Oly.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California Davis in Chemistry. Wanting to combine her passion for science and animals, she went on to attend school at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM in 2024.

Silvia focuses on mixed animal general medicine and is dedicated to her compassionate care to all creatures, great and small.

Outside of work, Silvia and her husband Jonathan love to be outdoors sharing adventures with their German Shepherd mix, Luna. She also loves hot pilates, yoga, and a good mystery novel.
